POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Recently, we had the privilege of revisiting several families who received homes in the past, including the Hernandez-Figueroa family. Each family graciously welcomed us back into their home, giving us a tour and sharing the beautiful updates they’ve made over the years.

It’s truly inspiring to see how each home has grown and changed over time, and to witness the pride, care, and love each family has poured into their home. These visits are a beautiful reminder of the lasting impact a home can have on a family and the memories made within its walls

“It has been an incredible privilege to participate in building these three homes. DwellingsNow does incredible work organizing these projects and making it possible for an enthusiastic team to turn up and magically build a house in just four days.

Watching the team develop and learn new skills in woodwork, plumbing, electrics and everything else is incredible. But most of all being embedded with a community that has such joy and social cohesion but has such profoundly different circumstances is incredibly humbling. Being honored with the key handover to the family this year was a hugely emotional moment for me.

To everyone who has contributed to these projects I am truly grateful.“
