Vegan eats in Germany 🇩🇪 part 2

@schmarrnsinn 🥞 kaiserschmarrn is a fluffy shredded pancake from Austria. The texture is so soft, fluffy, chewy, dense. Got the classic version sweetened with cinnamon and powdered sugar.

Vegan eats in Germany 🇩🇪

Went to Heidelberg for a day tour and passed by @cinnamood_ , humble shop selling all things cinnamon rolls (lots of flavours and good variety of ~4 vegan options)

Got the classic roll to try. It was super doughy, amazing light fluffy, airy texture. Each bite is coated with cinnamon. Perfect sweet and carby treat

@sunnysideup.ffm cosy vegetarian cafe with lots of vegan options. Ordered the dirty pumpkin spiced latte with almond milk and peaches cream cake 🍑

Vegan eats in Germany 🇩🇪

The coffee/cafe scene is quite robust. Walked by @rue27cafe and tucked in to a sea salt foam (vegan!!) oat espresso. The foam was not heavy and added perfect balance to the espresso

Another good cuppa oat latte from @bunca_roaster. There as constantly a queue of people, many locals and cbd workers patronise. Can’t go wrong with a warm oat latte!

New spots added every week to the gaïd app. Today, 10 across Germany’s best cities. Think a cult sourdough restaurant and a whisk-to-order matcha temple in Berlin, a „little Paris“ patisserie in Hamburg and a buzzy Italian-American in Munich. Every spot hand-picked, with all the details, in the app.

Lovely spot to slow down in Prenzlauer Berg, with house-baked bread, cake and really good coffee to settle in with.

Part coffee café, part listening bar - a design-led spot with good beats and a cult strawberry matcha.

Tiny, cosy counter spot for modern German small plates - don’t miss the sourdough with koji butter.

Lovely French patisserie for properly flaky butter croissants - some of the best in the city.

A buzzy Italian-American in Giesing with real New-York-neighbourhood energy - go for the Chicken Parm and a spritz.

Charming new old-town spot serving seasonal, Asian-inspired sharing plates with a Mediterranean touch.
