Sunday of @newyorkcomiccon 2027. Very last day even it was cold as heck. I thought it was cold in the rain. I'd bring my girlfriend for the first time con soloing. I think the last day was very chill.

Who's was here during the first day of NYCC. Going through this crowd is insane to walk by. A lot of us got priors to do at NYCC. It was so crowded moving around the con.

10 years strong. That’s right this was my 10th year at #nycc

It has been quite the journey from feeling lost and overwhelmed to having people I look forward to seeing every year ❤️

Some know my name, so know my cosplays but I hope they all know my heart

I love showing up and celebrating all the creativity that each cosplayer brings

I love being a welcoming figure to kids when they see #Maleficent

And most of all I love that I get to do this with so many people who are learning, growing, and improving right alongside of me.

If you have ever stopped me, took a picture with me, smiled my way or just admired from a far… 🙏 THank You🧡❤️🧡❤️

Here’s to the next 10 years…. (If my back allows for it 🤣🤣🤣)

I went to NYCC and interviewed a few cosplayers with whatever time I wasn't spending in panels or shopping for collectable trinkets on the showfloor.
Here are some quickfire Q&As from some New York Comic Con attendees!

Our first ever BARKADAS! x F.A.C.E.S. unofficial Meetup @newyorkcomiccon . We are so grateful for the community coming together and celebrating this moment with us.

We have this term called “Kapwa” which is a concept in the Philippines that means shared identity, whether or not I know your name, we are interconnected. I am because, we are. We honor our heritage, our family, and shared memories.

That day we came together, Filipino or not, and displayed that Kapwa or as someone said “Kapwa energy”. I am proud of you all that we accomplished and we thank you for all your support. Without you, we would not be complete.

Next year, we will come back, more prepared and it will be an even bigger celebration. Hope to see you all again 💙⭐️❤️

I’m really happy I overcame that fear. Thank you all for giving me a better experience this year than last- cosplaying is hard for so many reasons… but I just love the art so much. Stay strong and hold your ground 😝 #thelittlemermaid #disneyprincesscosplay #arielvictorydress #arielpurpledress #arielcosplay
