The Lady In Red Tour is over, and for the first time in a long time, I don’t really know what to say, but here's me trying.

This was Vana’s first headline tour, we sold 90% of the total ticket allocation and seeing every room fill up night after night was surreal. Not just because of the numbers, but because every face in those rooms represented someone who chose to spend their night with us. Someone who connected with what we’re creating.

But the thing I’ll carry with me isn’t the ticket sales, the shows, or any milestone we hit.

It’s the people.

Very quickly on our journey together, this stopped feeling like a band and started feeling like family.

The late night drives. The endless inside jokes that weren't funny until I said them for the 90th time. The conversations nobody else will ever hear. The moments on stage, backstage, and in parking lots at 3am. The feeling of looking around and realizing you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be.

I spent a lot of my life feeling disconnected. Even when I was surrounded by people, there was always a part of me that felt like I didn’t quite fit in anywhere. The only places I ever felt any true sense of belonging was at skateparks with my homies and on stage with my Bands.

This tour was my first time tour managing a headline run and there were so many moments where I felt completely out of my depth. So many moments where I was figuring things out in real time and hoping nobody noticed. - being a Hybrid is never easy, let alone while you're performing in the band (Bass Player Moment)

But that’s always been the story of my life.
The best things that have ever happened to me came from saying yes before I felt ready.

This tour was no different.

And now that it’s over, I think the thing I’m feeling most is gratitude.
Gratitude that I get to call this my job.
Gratitude that people care enough to come to these shows.
Gratitude that somewhere along the way I found a family I never knew I needed.

I still can’t quite believe it.

Thank you for giving us a first headline tour that we’ll never forget.
I don’t know where this journey takes us next.

I just know I want to keep going forever.

Tours almost over :( I love being out here with my homies and love when joyce comes out to visit. BUT we’ll be ripping the same fest @riot_fest as my favorite band in the world in September 😤😤😤
