Every industry needs more than talent. It needs knowledge, structure, business intelligence, and an ecosystem that empowers talent to thrive.

This is the vision behind RAFAD Rukkies Academy for Floral Artistry & Design, the empowerment arm of Rukkies House Group, created to foster growth and creative innovation through education in floral artistry and design.

Over the weekend, we took another step towards that vision with The Art of Floristry & Design Business Workshop 1.0.

One of the most exciting parts of this workshop was the diversity of our participants. From aspiring floral designers and creative entrepreneurs to floral enthusiasts, Farmers, and event business professionals, we brought together individuals from different backgrounds, united by a shared interest in creativity, design, and the business of floristry.

It was inspiring to witness this dynamic mix of perspectives, experiences, and ambitions in one room.

For me, this is bigger than a workshop. It is about building a floral artistry and design ecosystem in Africa, with Nigeria as our base, where creatives are empowered not just to practise their craft but to build thriving enterprises and shape the future of the industry.

This is how we foster growth. This is how we drive creative innovation. ✨

Over the weekend, I was reminded once again of why we created @the.rubexperience and designed our floral haven. 🌸 😍

When @seyiamao reached out to host E.A.T with Daddy’s Girls, she had a specific vision: an intimate, wholesome and healing experience. She chose our Design Centre over The Rube studio because she wanted a different setting and seating arrangement. We developed a mood board, and she confirmed it was exactly what she had envisioned.

What unfolded was more than an event. From floral bonding to vulnerable conversations, reflection, prayer and healing, it was beautiful to witness people connect, belong and simply be.

This is our WHY. We believe flowers and beautifully designed spaces can do more than please the eyes; they can create room for meaningful connections, healing and transformation.

We created The Rube as a place to bloom, bond and connect on a different level while @rukkiesdecor brings these experiences to life through intentional design.

We wanted to showcase their new product, this artificial realistic bonsai tree…one thing about them is that they always make amazing products that are so good to the eyes. 😍
