Hey guys after I did my Chemo session I treated myself to a trip to Rumors, Chapel Hill. I found this nice sequin vest, a silk shirt a Brahmin clutch. And the piece to resistance TS this Grace Jones’s pen.

What a month! I had four markets in June and got to show my art across the Triangle in Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill. My little table is starting to fill out, and while I could go on about all the improvements I’d like to make, I’d rather just take a moment to thank all the organizers and venues that have invited me to vend with them recently. It’s still a bit surreal, and I’m blown away by all the love and support I’ve received. To everyone that has stopped by, grabbed something from my booth, placed an order online, interacted with my posts, or even just offered encouragement… thank you.
I’m taking a little break in July to upgrade my booth setup and finish up some new pieces to prepare for my next round of markets in August. You can still grab all kinds of cool stuff from my shop online, and I’ll have a few new things up soon too. I ship nationwide ❤️ see you next month!

All stores closed on Friday 6/19 in observance of Juneteenth. This day deserves the same treatment as all federal holidays! We will be using this day to reflect and commemorate this monumental day in history. We encourage you to do the same 💖

What is Juneteenth?
On June 19th, 1865, major general Gordon Granger arrived in Galveston, TX, and announced the end of the civil war and the end of slavery. Juneteenth is a day of recognition, restoration, and celebration.

Today our EmpowerHer Crown Queens hit the streets for a powerful Queens Quest on Franklin Street 💜👑

From learning hands-on at Jiffy Lube with Sara an incredible female mechanic who reminded us that women belong in every space 💪🏽…
To standing in unity at the Chapel Hill Nine spot—honoring courage, strength, and those who stood up for change ✊🏽
To speaking life into their dreams in front of the “Hope” mural 🌈✨

And yes… we had some FUN too 😂
@rumorsnc turned into a whole confidence challenge (that was supposed to be 10 minutes but… 30 later 😅), and we ended it with pizza at @italianpizzeria3 🍕

Today was about confidence, unity, leadership, and finding your voice 💫

We didn’t finish everything on our list… and that just means one thing 👀
✨ We’re coming back ✨

Next stop: helping each Queen discover the “flower” that matches who she is 🌸

Stay tuned… they’re just getting started 👑💜
