“21 kilometers. 1 hour 47 minutes. And a journey that words can barely capture.
Last Sunday wasn’t just another run — it was my 10th half marathon, a milestone that reminds me how far I’ve come, not just on the road, but in life. There was a time when things didn’t go my way, when results didn’t match the effort, and self-doubt tried to take over. But instead of stopping, I chose to run.
Running became more than a habit — it became my therapy, my discipline, and my way of finding myself again. Every long run taught me patience. Every finish line gave me belief. And every drop of sweat reminded me that I’m stronger than I think.
This 21K in 1:47 isn’t just a timing — it’s a reflection of consistency, resilience, and the love I’ve built for the process. From chasing goals to chasing peace, this journey has changed me.
10 half marathons down… and this is just the beginning.

Kedarnath Temple is a renowned Hindu shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva, located in Uttarakhand’s Rudraprayag district at 3,583 meters on the Mandakini River’s banks. As one of the 12 Jyotirlingas and part of the Char Dham pilgrimage, it is a 1,200-year-old stone temple built by Adi Shankaracharya, usually open from May to October.
Key Details About Kedarnath Temple:
Significance: It is the highest of the 12 Jyotirlingas and a vital part of the Panch Kedar pilgrimage, where Shiva is worshipped as Kedarnath (the Lord of the Field).
Location & Access: Situated in the Garhwal Himalayas, it is accessible via a challenging trek from Gaurikund or by helicopter.
Opening/Closing: The temple opens in late April or early May (often on Akshay Tritiya) and closes in mid-November for winter due to extreme snowfall.
Winter Seat: During the winter, the deity is moved to the Omkareshwar Temple in Ukhimath.
Architecture & History: Built from large stone slabs, the structure was believed to be established by the Pandavas and rebuilt by Adi Shankaracharya in the 8th century AD.
Best Time to Visit: May to June and September to October offer pleasant weather and clear skies.
2026 Opening: The temple is set to reopen on April 22, 2026, or May 2, 2026, based on different announcements.
