How it started. How it ended.
Grand Canyon Rim to Rim, done. ✅

This was one challenging day. But I’m glad I had the good fortune of sharing this journey with my nephew, Nathan (@nategzmn). The route was tougher than we expected, but we balanced each other out throughout the day. We dealt with temperatures in the high 90s-low 100s, terrain that was more challenging than we expected, and a steep 7ish-mile climb up the North Kaibab Trail that beat up our legs and challenged our resolve. Not to mention, the high altitude was more of a factor than we anticipated. But as I said above, we did it.

I’m also happy and grateful to have met the trail angels Jen, (@JenAndZackHike), Zack (@AstroZack), and Dennis (@Dude_On_A_Byke). I can’t say thank you enough to each of them. Thank you, thank you, thank you. 🙏🏽

And, of course, thank you to @marianuviaruizambriz and @xoaddyox for your support.
