#FBF to my 6 years at Surf City on the course (2015-2020), plus a not pictured 2021 virtual (I don’t count virtuals in my overall race count, but my streak is intact). Sunday is 8th consecutive @runsurfcityusa half, keeping my #longboardlegacyclub status. Who else will be cruising PCH Sunday morning?

SeaWheeze Half Marathon ☑️

Stopped by the group start to say “hi” but I had to get home for some fun family time. So I ran home solo…saw some hottie (my husband) on a bike with water…drank all of his water & he joined me for the last 3-4 miles:)

Next up, SeaWheeze 10K this weekend! I hope you all have a great weekend full of fun miles!

First in-person race since LAM 2020! It was a sunny & hot Southern CA day. Decked out in our patriotic gear & face coverings (yes, the whole race), we chatted & had a good time! It was also our first long training run for Dopey!

There was an excitement in the air as well as somber moments remembering & honoring those who lost their lives twenty years ago. We will never forget & you will be in our hearts forever ❤️🤍💙
