📍DALLAS, TX at Toastique! This smoothie bar is serving a variety of healthy items on their menu! From açaí bowls to smoothies and so much more! The customer service was great and the workers really took the time to recommend certain menu items to me. The açaí bowl that I got was extremely fresh and full of flavor.

📍DFW at Bonsai! This pop up shop is serving one of the best matchas in the DFW area. The matcha is extremely high quality and the puree they use for the strawberry matcha is top quality. The customer service was great as well! They have a large variety of different types of matchas, so I definitely recommend yall to try it out!

📍DALLAS, TX at Las Palmas! Located in Uptown, this amazing Tex Mex restaurant is a go to of mine for many reasons. The food here is absolutely amazing and the quality is top tier. I always order the Akaushi Wagyu fajitas, and when I tell you that I crave this all the time, I am not joking! The customer service here is amazing and everyone is so attentive and kind. I would recommend getting a reservation because they are always busy.

Siempre pido las fajitas de Wagyu Akaushi; ¡y no bromeo cuando digo que se me antojan todo el tiempo! El servicio al cliente es excelente y todo el personal es muy atento y amable. Recomiendo hacer reserva, ya que siempre está muy concurrido.

📍Plano, TX at Oishii! If you are looking for the best sushi in the DFW area, I would definitely recommend Oishii! You can never go wrong with any of their rolls. You can tell how fresh the food here is by the ingredients they use. I have never had a bad experience here. The customer service is excellent and the workers here are very knowledgeable and kind.

Spoke with @runandserve to learn more about what she is doing to bring back and amplify tennis to the wonderful community of Hamilton Park.

Hamilton Park, originally an all-Black subdivision, is ten miles north of Main and Akard streets in downtown Dallas, Dallas County. Two developments usually are associated with the founding of Hamilton Park. In 1950 several Black residences in the South Dallas area were bombed. In a January 1953 bond election the decision to demolish housing in Black neighborhoods for the expansion of the municipal airport, Love Field, was approved.

The subdivision was named for a Black civic leader and physician, Dr. Richard T. Hamilton.

📍ALLEN, TX at Base Smoothies + Juice! EREWHON SMOOTHIE DUPE IN TX? You heard that right! Located in Allen, TX, this establishment is serving an erewhon smoothie dupe that everyone is enjoying! They have two different flavors of this type of smoothie. I really enjoyed it because it had a cream base to it, but it wasn’t too sweet. The customer service was great, but I will say that it is more on the pricier side for a smoothie!

Este establecimiento en Allen, Texas, ofrece una versión inspirada en el famoso batido de Erewhon que está encantando a todo el mundo. Tienen dos sabores diferentes de este tipo de batido. 📍DALLAS, TX at Go Culture Cafe! This amazing cafe has been open for the past month, and I cannot tell you how many times I have visited it. Everyone who works there knows my order, and they are extremely kind and friendly. I always get the large fig matcha latte with oat milk, and it is by far the best matcha I have had here in the DFW. They also have coffee options as well! Definitely recommend yall to try it!

Todo el personal conoce mi pedido y son sumamente amables y simpáticos. Siempre pido el matcha latte grande de higo con leche de avena; es, con diferencia, el mejor matcha que he probado aquí en la zona de DFW. ¡También tienen opciones de café! Se los recomiendo muchísimo.

I should edit this into a bite sized reel but my talents have always been cheerleading, running around, and route planning. I promise by the fall return of the run club their will be someone else doing it for the gram so I can encourage more artwork.

@friendsofabp @friendsofvalleyviewpark @whiterockcreektrail have plenty of biking/running but @friendsofcottonwood is still the only section strangers cheer for runners.

I didn't have the heart to leave a card @dallasmuseumart because children might read it and weep. From the exploring trails and race day kit down to the retirement life after of battered house shoes, I wish i had the heart to let them go.

Summer and everyones feeling it! We saw more runners and cyclists out, the fountains are on, and the smiles are temporary. Everyone's too busy thinking about how much further till the next shady section to waste energy grinning.

Starting summer by passing out @mcdonalds
Before the walk and before picking up trash. Saying we're did it with @betterblock would make more sense, but really the community around the trail cheers for us and I owe them something at least.

So I didn't really hand out/eat Thistle with the run club. I would have, and I tried but I forgot my loppers and didn't even think about the prickly spines. I'm sure there will be more next week so reminder to self- wear my trail vest and bring blue cheese.

Sunday @friendsofcottonwood will be passing out breakfast after the walk. @texanbynature these fabulous purple thistle is edible right? And I will be wearing gloves, and I promise ill be wearing litter gloves , THEN, change. I dont want the food service fine.
