Trail running adventures led by certified ACMG guides! ✨

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

A wonderful mid-South alpine adventure in a new to me area here on Vancouver Island. Happy I could spend a full day with a bestie and help get a summit that had been on her list. The more I looked around, the more peaks I found that will need a visit. I guess we keep exploring like this until the snow flies?

Gosh…ok…this was an outstanding day playing in the mountains. Part of my “the Fall is all about the alpine” series, this summit was a highlight. Gotta keep getting after it folks…..one life to make awesome, each day to make count.

If terrain like this speaks to you, I’ll soon post about all the ways you can join me out on the trails in 2027. There are some cool opportunities coming!

Setting the tone for what I hope my next year around the sun will hold! BIRTHDAY week provided a chance to disconnect, reconnect and do the things that I love the most. Taking with me so many positives from the past year, leaving behind the things that no longer serve and setting goals for how I want 46 to look. Thankyou everyone for thinking of me and sending so many kind messages. Onto a NEW year, the intention is to make it the best yet.

My favourite day of the year has now come and gone. Racing the @mindovermountain adventure race looked a little different this time around. @normhann and I have enjoyed doing this event with the Kman since he was 7 years old. But due to hockey commitments, he wasn’t able to join us (omg he’s almost 13!) We were wishing we had his speedy legs to set the pace after the paddle. An awesome race course was delivered and the volunteers were exceptional. Thanks to friends and my mom for helping us manage all the moving parts so we could be out there together. (1st co-ed sporty, 2nd OA).

The #momar holds a very special place in my heart. I’ve been racing these since I was 20 years old, it’s where the sport of adventure racing ignited my soul and what would lead to decades of global racing from that point forward. I enjoyed the years of course directing for @bryantasaka to put on Momar Squamish back in the day and have loved racing in every and any configuration possible. The Momar is for EVERYONE so just say yes and come experience it.

SEPTEMBER….best month of the year for all the things I love…..especially being in the alpine. Kickstarted the Fall with this Vancouver Island gem of a day.

What separates the women who consistently hit their wellness goals from the ones who stay stuck? It isn't boundless motivation or elite genetics. It’s how they treat their time.

Elite coach Jen Segger breaks down the exact mindset shift needed to achieve your goals in midlife: treating your training window like a non-negotiable appointment with yourself that you simply do not cancel. No excuses, no junk volume, just efficient, purposeful movement.

It’s incredibly common to feel like you don’t have hours to dedicate to a massive workout routine. But world-class endurance coach Jen Segger has a refreshing reminder: starting small isn't settling, it's sustainable.

You don't need hours; you just need 20 to 30 minutes of intentional daily movement to completely shift your energy and build long-term longevity. ⏳
