POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

This lady allowed me to dream 6 years ago.

When we first dreamt up the idea of @coopahruncoach we knew a key GTM route for us was event partnerships. I emailed every single event in the UK asking for a meeting. There was no app, no product but just an idea with a mission to create a better world. Nearly everyone ignored the email except @siobhanacurtis

Fast forward six years and we partner with over 100 races across the world. I often wonder where we’d be if Shiv hadn’t said yes.

@yorkshiremarathon was unreal this Sunday and can’t wait to be back in 2027, for the full race! There, I’ve said it. I’m coming out of retirement.

Yorkshire marathon! 💞 Part 2 of the Yorkshire Double! Couldn’t have done it without the support of mum and Gina with a lovely 47 minute PB! 🤯🏃‍♀️

Yorkshire Marathon, compelted it mate 🤣

Sub 3:30 was always my long term goal, and to finally hit that in my home county (Gods Own County) was the best feeling ever.

Delighted to get a 3:27:07 in York and it’s now my second favourite race (it’s never going to beat Leeds is it 🤣).

That you to Rachel for supporting me and obviously @enduosports and @zone_8_breathing for my fuel and strips. I can’t say anything more about Enduo other than it’s an amazing product which keeps me fuelled all the way through on marathons.

Paris next maybe a sub 3:20

Do you know anyone who took part?

There were so many emotions from the day. ❤️

Now in its 13th year, the marathon route started and finished at the University of York, passing York Minster before heading into the countryside to Stamford Bridge and back through Murton in glorious sunshine. What a day it was!

THIS IS WHAT WE CAME FOR 💖

Still on an absolute HIGH from yesterday.

10 WHOLE MILES! Every mile was pure vibes, laughs, and pushing each other when we needed it most. Couldn’t have asked for a better running pal to do it with 🫶🏼

HOW IT ALL STARTED 💙
As I start winding down ahead of a much needed break (hurrah, I hear you all say!😂), I thought it was a good time to share how I got here.

Not the miles. Not the marathons.
The moment it all started.

For me, that moment was Leeds Marathon 2023.
I’d already run a couple of marathons for good causes, but that day felt different.

It was my hometown. My family were there. The MND community, Rob Burrow and Kevin Sinfield were there.
There was something special in the air.

The gym has always been part of my life.
Running.. not so much!

Somewhere along that route, something changed.
I realised I’d found a way to honour my mum’s legacy and support a community that meant something to me.

I remember crossing the finish line and saying to my wife:
“This is it. I know what I need to do.”

I didn’t know where it would take me.

15 marathons in 15 weeks.

Then 8 marathons in 8 days.

And now, the challenge of a lifetime.8in4:
Wembley to Huddersfield

Looking back, Leeds wasn’t the goal.
It was the start line.

Over the next few weeks, I’ll share the highs, the setbacks, the lessons and the moments that have shaped the last 24 months.

This became about far more than running.

💙❤️

Next up: 15 Marathons in 15 Weeks.
