There’s something special about our FIT sessions. You’re surrounded by a group that were once strangers, but you leave having pushed through the same challenge together. The encouragement, the cheers when you’re struggling, and the high fives after a gruelling workout remind you that you’re never doing it alone. It’s more than just fitness—it’s accountability, motivation, and a community that celebrates every win, big or small. 💪🏽🙌🏽 #metconleeds #groupPT #personaltraining #fitness

Endure24 complete. 🏃‍♂️ What an unreal experience. I covered 80km (50 miles) personally the furthest I’ve ever run, let alone in an event like this. Taking it on alongside the @metconleeds team made it unforgettable. The support, teamwork, and constant encouragement while we were all suffering is something I’ll never forget. If I’m honest, I didn’t put as much training into this event as I should have (and I definitely wish I had now), but it showed me what my body is capable of. Even without the preparation I wanted, I managed to push further than I ever thought possible. Eventually my body started to give in. Serious blisters, terrible knee pain, and some of the worst hip issues I’ve experienced left me limping around the course for two full laps but we got it done. On Thursday night I set myself a goal of 100km. Considering the furthest I’d ever run before was a half marathon, it was a huge target. We set goals to push beyond our limits; sometimes we achieve them, and sometimes we find where those limits are. Either way, I’m absolutely over the moon with 80km and incredibly proud of what I achieved. What makes it even more special is that I’ve personally raised over £641 for @macmillancancer . That alone makes every mile, every blister, and every bit of pain worthwhile. As a team, we’ve raised more than £4,000 for our chosen charities and covered over 400 miles between us. An unforgettable 24 hours with the best team.
