gloomy day -> glorious run ◡̈
no sunday scaries for me, got that 3.5 easy miles today & tomorrow’s a long run🏃🏼‍♀️ 🎉

overall felt pretty darn good, light on my feet, my hammies were a little sore yesterday and this morning but i stretched and rolled them out and i also got to wear my new socks 🧦 haha they were bright white till i ran through a puddle
i listened to tate mcrae ofc the entire run and it was such a vibe tbh. i wasn’t really in a yapping mood as i gotta save it for tomorrow where it makes the longer runs go by real fast 💨 so music 🎶 it was for today!

hope you all have a great day & finish off the weekend! looking forward myself to watching some suits tn as well as the afc championship game!

RUNNING GOT EASIER:

.
.
.
.
When I started running with my husband.
But, if this isn’t you, you run by yourself, nobody wants to run with you, you’re busy and schedules can’t align.

I GET IT.

Running get easier when you realize it’s not a punishment, a chore, but something that you GET to do. For me, my husband and I work during the day and we scheduled this into our day. So for us, running is the time we spend together, improving upon ourselves, challenging ourselves and ultimately working towards an incredible goal of crossing the finish line of our first marathon in October.

Once I realized that. Running became an outlook and a space for me to really truly love, not because everyone else was doing it, or how many miles I’ve done on strava, but because I shared it with someone I love. It’s our special time together.
