POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I spoke yesterday about Anne Frank and the legacy she leaves us. I shared a story of her entrusting a box of marbles with a neighbor before she went into hiding with her family. Two years later Anne and her family were found and promptly deported to Auschwitz. The marbles live on still, as we do. It’s an imperfect world to be sure but we are alive and fortunate to be in it, as Anne would have loved to be here, to wrestle, to try, to go and grow, to push back against hate, to rally for justice and equity and compassion and fairness, to engage in the messiness of Israel, to raise up our Judaism, to never back down from who we are.

We all took home a singular marble to remember Anne and to live our Judaism loud and proud in her name.
