Still reflecting on this one 🤍

I had the opportunity to speak at the Founders & Forks panel about The Human Side of Hustle: Building Wealth, Building Business and Staying Human.

What I really appreciated about this conversation was that it went beyond the usual narrative around entrepreneurship.

Building Fitlab was never just about opening a gym.

It was about building a business with real financial value. Understanding revenue, expenses, margins, reinvestment, cash flow, growth and, ultimately, what it means to build an asset that can create long-term wealth.

And I think women need to be more comfortable talking about that.

We can build businesses because we care about our communities and the people we serve while also wanting to make money, build equity, create financial security and increase our net worth.

Profit is not the opposite of purpose.

For me, growing Fitlab has meant learning how to think beyond the day-to-day operations and ask bigger questions:

→ How do I build something profitable and sustainable?
→ How do I reinvest strategically to create growth?
→ How do I turn the work I’m putting in today into an asset that has value tomorrow?
→ How do I create financial independence through business ownership?

Those conversations are important, especially for women.

Thank you to @runtheworldsummit for creating a space where we could talk honestly about the realities of building businesses and building wealth, not just the highlight reel of entrepreneurship.
