People often wonder about how big stars really are in real life. In my few times around Dolly, including one in a very small, intimate family gathering, not onstage or having to be "on" in any way, and lasting a couple of hours, I can tell you this. What you see is what you get. She was the real deal. She was just a real, genuine, kind, down to earth person. Whether you agree or not with certain positions she might have taken, I believe in my heart of hearts that her wish TRULY WAS LOVE for people and the world. I'm grateful to have met her and shared the mic with her. She certainly will be missed. She was and always will be...the only..."Dolly".
