Happy Medal Monday!

Rock ‘n’ Roll San Jose was one for the record books!! Congratulations to all of the athletes who pushed their limits this weekend, collected smiles and memories and connected with friends from near and far.

The heat was NO JOKE and we saw it get the best of many people. But our Village Athletes trained, showed up and gave those miles all of their best. As your coach and friend, I couldn’t be more proud to know you all!!

Congratulations to Kia for working through her 50 States List with what looks like an absolutely beautiful weekend in Albuquerque!

Thank you for letting me live vicariously through you! Excited to check off NV with you next year!!

If watching your friends celebrate their races is giving you FOMO, let’s talk. I’m launching a first timers program for the San Jose Santa Run and I have athlete openings to help you train for whatever race you’re dreaming of!!

🎸 San Jose Rock n Roll 2026 10k 🎸

Despite temperatures rising to the 80s by 9am, it doesn’t beat how hot all my running friends are 😅 took it easy for the majority of the race by keeping my HR at threshold (160bpm) then around mile 4 my feet weren’t happy. Will probably stick to shoes that I’m used to wearing for races until my feet can acclimate to the power of the Adios Pro 4s (UPDATE: I figured out why my feet were aching. I chose the wrong socks 😵‍💫)

I have so much love for the San Jose community for showing up, and also the honor for being a race ambassador this year. Big thank you to Coach B @toolegitfitness and @beckys408 it has been awesome working with you.

Will be back next year, and I’m hoping the weather will behave then. Yall thought I was done with races for the year…well no. Stay tuned for what’s to come next month 🤫🌉

Fourth half marathon in the books ✅
I decided to run this half about six weeks ago and it was a tough one. 70deg when we started and nearly 90 at the finish. But I was so so honored to be part of @runwithnoosh ‘s silly goose crew for her first ever half! Trial by (what felt like literal) fire. The @toolegitfitness and @sunnyvalerumblerunclub crew kept us going! #rocknroll #sanjose #bayarea #heatwave #halfmarathon

Missed the big group photo 🫣 still ran into my favorite running couple

You know you’re a teacher when you remember to bring wet paper towels for the face tattoos #glitter #glittermakeup

All races are better with friendship bracelets #taylorswift #bracelet #friendship #friendshipbracelets

We really earned these today 🥵

Running is about so much more than miles, pace, or fitness. It’s about the people you meet and the friendships you make. It’s putting on glitter before a run just because it’s fun. It’s finding a little piece of girlhood in something you once thought had to be serious✨ #runningwhimsy is about choosing joy, finding magic in the little things, and making every mile a little more fun. Because every run deserves a little whimsy 💖#runningcommunity #girlswhorun #girlhood #running
