@adidas & @adidasrunning invited me to lace up with something new — the Terrex Agravic 3 trail runners — and let’s just say, this one’s different. 🌲🏃‍♂️

Trail running isn’t something I’ve ever really explored… until now. But there’s something about taking things off-road — the unpredictable paths, the fresh air, the sounds of nature, the challenge of new terrain — that gives my running journey a whole new spark. It’s a reminder that growth happens when we step into the unknown.

This experience was a shift I didn’t see coming, but it’s already one I’ll be chasing again. If you’ve been running the same routes, maybe it’s time to explore something new too. You never know — trail might just become your favorite kind of run.

Here’s to movement, nature, and the courage to try something different.

I’m Vee (@RunwithVee), a Brazilian-born runner who has just moved from Toronto to the Niagara region. I started to run about six years ago, just to prove to myself that I could do it. Even a continuous 1k seemed so impossible back then. But it’s only impossible if you don’t try. I never intended to become a runner as my main sport was road cycling, but things changed when I moved from Winnipeg to Toronto in 2019. Running was my way of exploring my new city — and claiming it as my own. I ditched cycling as I fell deeply in love with running. I find it very therapeutic — great to organize one’s ideas, too (when I was writing my PhD thesis, I did a lot of the thinking during my runs). I love to learn new things — and that’s what running enables you to do. You get to know better about your own body, rethink your nutrition, and see places from a different perspective. There’s always something new to see, especially if you try different running routes. That’s why when I travel, I always pack my running shoes. There’s no better way to explore a city.
The Beneva Mississauga Marathon Event is gonna be my third half-marathon and my first time ever running the streets of Mississauga. I’m beyond excited to soak up the city’s atmosphere and share this experience with y’all.

Thanks Vee for sharing your running journey! Can’t wait to have you back for the Mississauga Half Marathon! With our event fast approaching, there’s no time to waste! Join runners like Vee today for April 28. Registration link in bio
