Soccer has given me some of the best moments of my life, and now it’s also given me one of the hardest. I’ve always prayed and asked God to protect me from an ACL injury, but everything in life happens for a reason. It’s painful to accept because everything was going so well until out of nowhere, this setback came my way. Still, I’m choosing to trust God’s plan and use this as fuel to grow stronger.

I’ve been playing this game since I was 5, and my love for it runs too deep to let this stop me.
I’m forever grateful to the Stony Brook program for the opportunity and support they’ve given me on and off the field throughout these past 4 years.
I also want to thank my family, close friends, and everyone who has already been supporting me through this tough and unexpected time; your love and encouragement mean everything.

The road ahead won’t be easy, but I promise to give everything I have to this recovery and come back stronger than before and move on to the next stage of my journey.
