Husky Records 001

The first night of Husky Records made one thing clear: in 2026, as students and adults seeking an education within a university rooted in a city shaped by music, we must uplift the voices and sounds of the souls who share this community with us.

Our first performance was a visceral ambient experience. Over the course of an hour, @russellccoe developed a shifting landscape of sharp, drifting textures and dreamy pads, performed live on a mixture of synths. It was a stunning way to begin the night. Thank you, Russell, for showing us how music can stretch time and create entirely new worlds.

Our second performance was soulful, playful, gentle, and bittersweet. @nataliaquint_ filled the cathedral room adorned with colorful stained glass, moonlight peeking through, with synth harmonies, voice, and accordion. Thank you, Natalia, for bringing such presence to our space and mission.

Thank you to @mckaganism for introducing Husky Records and sharing our mission.

Thank you to our club officers (@joeharris2028 @sawyer.bain @realinternetuser @russellccoe @mckaganism) who arrived early, eager, and excited.
