As we continue to honor our ancestors this October, I want to celebrate sweet Grandma Myrle, whose birthday is today! Myrle embraced me as her own, and had a special ability of making everyone feel loved and like they were best friend. I was no exception to this. Every visit to her home was met with a thoughtful gift, and we would spend hours in heartfelt conversation. She held every one of my babies with such care and love, and her kindness left an indelible mark on all of us.

Grandma Myrle taught me invaluable lessons about love, kindness, loyalty, and gratitude—principles that continue to guide me. This month, as we take time to honor our ancestors, I feel her presence, along with others who have passed before me, reminding me that we are not alone in this journey.

Happy birthday, Grandma Myrle! I’m deeply grateful for you and the legacy of love you’ve left behind. @russwatts2002 #rememberme

There are not enough words to express our gratitude to @russwatts2002 and @wattsliving for their generous contribution to our Nutcracker Tea and to the community. Their willingness to give back each year is astounding and we could not put this on without them! As we wrap up another year we want to express our gratitude for our title sponsor, Watts Enterprises, thank you for all that you do for us and for this valley. 🤍

We laid my Grandma Watts to rest yesterday. With 7 children, 28 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren, mourning her is painful, but certainly not lonely. We love you forever & ever Grandma. 🖤
