So happy with the new Farm signs! Made from Corten Steel, they will turn a gorgeous rust as they weather over the next wee while.
Thanks @rustydeercreations who bought my vision to life of having the Farm and farm owners details, as well as the ability to have our sharemilking details too 🐄 We are into our fifth year of 50:50 sharemilking here now, and together with our team and the farm owners this farm has come a long way from when they purchased it and bought us on to run it ✨

Travelling throughout the Hawkes Bay region gives me the chance to visit some incredible places and meet hardworking locals who all have their own story to tell.

Last Friday I had a good catch-up with Tim and Jess Groves from @rustydeercreations while killing a pig for them. It was really interesting to hear how it all started and appreciate all the hard work that goes into it behind the scenes. Its always great to see a local Hawke’s Bay business producing quality products that are ending up all over New Zealand.

So if you’re in the market for a custom gateway sign for your home, farm, or station, definitely check out @rustydeercreations . They create some really cool stuff and it’s awesome to support another local business doing great things.

A moment to highlight our beautiful @rustydeercreations signage 🧚🏼‍♀️🌸🌤️💗🌼

8 months on and it’s aged beautifully weathered, softened, and slowly becoming part of the landscape around our Greta & Grace Blooms roadside flower cart 🎀

We just love how it’s changed over time. A bit rustic, a bit magical, and it’s made this whole flower season feel even more special by having our very own sign.

Watching the sun set on Christmas Day 2025, full of food and gratitude. Big days can be hard when there’s a space where someone should be. But tonight I’m choosing to be grateful for what I have here, and so grateful to our Penny Farms whānau for walking this journey with us.
