“He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭28‬:‭6‬

Happy Easter friends! Here is a glimpse of what God has been doing here at Rutgers University. We’re so glad to have been able to experience Jesus Awareness Week with you all. We pray that we would continue to press on to Jesus, to be conformed to the image of Christ, for it is there that we truly become who God has created us to be! Go in peace ❤️

I went to Antigua to serve and be a blessing, but I knew my good God would have something beautiful in store for me. This trip carried with it the gift of a vibrant community and encouragement - that there are many with a heart to serve and do good wherever they go, never growing tired of it! (Galatians 6:9). I got morning devos with my precious sister. I learned to process, express, and work through complex conversations with her and my best friend on the island, connecting us more than ever. And like a group of avengers, God assembled a network of 7 amazing women around me, all working toward a common goal with separate giftings, rejoicing with each other's joys, and weeping with each other's sorrows. I can't even express how healing this time was and how much God did. This really was bringing His kingdom culture to earth.

Good evening Rutgers, today is March 16th, the 23rd day of lent. Today we have Josh from Chi Alpha to read from Mark 10:1-16!
Jesus then left that place and went into the region of Judea and across the Jordan. Again crowds of people came to him, and as was his custom, he taught them. Some Pharisees came and tested him by asking, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife?” “What did Moses command you?” he replied. They said, “Moses permitted a man to write a certificate of divorce and send her away.” “It was because your hearts were hard that Moses wrote you this law,” Jesus replied. “But at the beginning of creation God ‘made them male and female.’ ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.’ So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.” When they were in the house again, the disciples asked Jesus about this. He answered, “Anyone who divorces his wife and marries another woman commits adultery against her. And if she divorces her husband and marries another man, she commits adultery.” People were bringing little children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them, but the disciples rebuked them. When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.” And he took the children in his arms, placed his hands on them and blessed them.
