Rendering a helping hand might not change the whole world , but it could change the world for one person..

In regards to task 8 which is to raise funds for any cause close to my heart, I had a fundraiser in March, in which part of the money was used to cloth street children. I decided to use the other part of the money to assist a family in need. Hit by their reality of losing their mum, life has been hard for them. Therefore I used the remaining money realized from my fundraiser in March to buy foodstuffs for the family. I have decided to mentor these kids morally, spiritually, and also tend to their needs from time to time.

In regards to Task 7, which is to discover and nurture a talent ..

I discovered my Nephew Emmanuel's talent.. For the past few years, he has shown interest in modeling, he always assist me during my runway trainings and is always glued to the Tv, watching fashion shows..
He told me that he would like to explore his modeling potentials to become a runway model just like me one day .. On this day, I understood it was time to start building him up professionally to achieve his dreams. I registered him at Afro Creation International (ACI) modeling academy. There his professional portfolio will be worked on. I also encouraged him to not neglect his academics in the pursuit of his modeling career, as I will also become his personal coach.

I’m happy my career is inspiring young people. And seeing he is one of those inspired by me, has given me so much joy.. I wish him all the best in life and I pray for God’s guidance to manage the stress and sacrifices that comes with modeling..

On the 27th of May was Children’s Day celebration in Nigeria. In celebrating Children’s day, the Initiative for Advancement of the Albinism Cause (INAAC) and Church of God Mission Estate provincial Headquarters with support from Miss Philanthropy Africa held a Children’s day program with the theme “ The Child and Human right”.

It was an amazing experience as activities like
spelling bee, quiz and drawing competition took place. Gifts items such as water cans, cups, Bibles and mathematical sets was given to the winners by Queen Ruth, Miss Philanthropy Africa Nigeria. She had a brief talk with the children where she encouraged them to discover their potentials at an early age and become a better Leader in the future. In attendance was Queen Comfort, Miss Philanthropy Nigeria Culture, who accompanied Queen Ruth.

We appreciate the host for organizing this program for the children as we look forward to joining them in the future for other children programs. We also appreciate Queen Ruth for the free will donations, you made the children excited indeed. And to Queen Comfort, you were simply amazing, we appreciate you for being there with Queen Ruth. May GOD bless you all 🙏🏾
