Heat waves call for transparency, so let’s talk 🍦

My last stop on my way out of my very first ever Ren Faire, was for this Dole Whip. And let me tell you, I made the right decision at @robinhoodsfaire.

We passed on dessert at lunch on this gorgeous day, because we knew @sweetpessex was a quick walk around the corner and we all needed ice cream!

This flight did have 4 small scoops and I had to try 4 different flavors on my first time here (though I probably always would anyway). 🍨

This is an insane amount of ice cream in my next 6 scoop flight! 🤯

And look at this price? If you lack self-control in the ice cream department (🙋‍♀️) then I literally have no clue how you can choose anything but this Famous Flight!

@the_hungry_road decided what he should do as soon as he heard me start my order. Start choosing 6 flavors!

@mortensendairyicecream is where you should be for lots of ice cream during this heat wave coming on!

Frozen anything on the menu is the dessert I always choose, when splurging and enjoying dessert. Hubby goes for the cheesecake at @ruthschrisct.

@capitalicecream always has a line at @hartfordtaste if it’s hot out! And I jumped right in it! Toppings were supposed to come on these ice cream nachos but I’m a purist, I don’t like toppings I just want the most ice cream, sorbet or gelato!

Newington celebrated it’s annual Night of Lights in the center of town. Even though it was chilly out, the community made it a warm event. Santa Claus brought cheer to all, even the Grinch stopped by. Thank you to Ruth Chris Steakhouse for sponsoring this great event!

Reza Abbassi (@rezaabbassinewdoor) and I visited Ruth’s Chris Steak House in Newington, and wow, this was more than just dinner. It was a story of passion, family, and flavor. 🤤

👨‍🍳 Chef George began his journey here at just sixteen years old, starting out as a dishwasher. More than two decades later, he is now the Head Chef, personally trained by Ruth herself. Every plate that leaves his kitchen carries the same dedication and love for the craft.

🥩 We went all in with the 40oz Tomahawk, buttery lobster tails, creamy potato au gratin, and desserts like warm apple crumble and crème brûlée that truly redefine indulgence.

🍷 And the wine wall deserves a moment of its own. It is a showpiece that pairs perfectly with every bite.

❤️ A huge thank you to General Manager Julian and the entire team for making us feel like family. This place is family owned, full of heart, and absolutely unforgettable.

Happy Hour at @ruthschrisct is definitely one of my favorites! Nice discounts offered on all your favorite drinks and dishes. They also have a prix fixe menu where you get to choose a starter with a main course and side AND a dessert 🤯. You can’t go wrong here I do this every time! And let me tell you about these sizzlin crab cakes! I think about them all the time. Close your eyes and you will think you are in Maryland 🦀
