For decades, Paula Gately Tillman photographed artists, musicians, performers, and creative visionaries with warmth, curiosity, and an unmistakable sense of intimacy. Her work stands as an enduring record of the people and communities that helped shape American culture. This spring, friends, family, artists, photographers and curators gathered in the Baltimore Museum of Art Sculpture Garden before continuing the celebration with dinner at Gertrude’s to mark Paula’s 80th birthday. The evening brought together generations of Baltimore’s creative community to honor a photographer whose influence continues to inspire. The celebration also marked the debut of SEEN, BmoreArt’s style column by photographer @ebradyrobinson , highlighting the fashion, personalities, and creative communities that gather wherever art happens.
