I shared my 48-hour version a couple weeks ago, and the interest was so high I knew I had to create a longer guide. Salem is one of my favorite cities—I’ve been visiting every October for over a decade—and this plan is tailored especially for first-timers.

✨ My top tip: stay outside the chaos. Hotels and Airbnbs in Salem skyrocket in October, so I recommend Marblehead—my favorite neighboring town. It’s calmer, gorgeous, and just a quick ride away.

⚠️ Important note: Max & Dani’s house is a private residence. Please be respectful and keep your distance. You’ll still get great photos from the street and even better memories. Be kind to the locals—they’re incredibly welcoming to visitors.

⭐️ THE BRACELET PROCESS

• VIP Disco & Kiss? You do NOT need a bracelet. Regular Disco & Kiss? Same! This is only if you want to get as close to the stage as possible.

• Bracelets started at 9AM.

• Right + left GA are ONE line for bracelets. Your number = the order you lined up. We were 16–18 overall, which became 5–7 for left GA once they separated the sides.

• Return at 5:30PM to check in. That’s when they split right + left GA and organize everyone by bracelet number.

• NO CUTTING. Your number determines your spot, and they have an AMAZINGLY organized system. Honestly, one of the fairest/easiest pit processes I’ve experienced.

⭐️ MY TIPS

• Park at a 24-hour garage if you’re driving in. We used the garage on 31st between 7th & 8th next to @obriensbargrillny — $50 parking + $20 tolls.

• BOOK A DAY-USE HOTEL. We used DayUse.com and @moxytimessquare from 10AM–4PM. $172 after tax. SO worth it for a shower, nap, charging your phone + getting ready.

• Bring chairs! Drop them off after getting your bracelet and grabbing your hotel bag.

• Make sure your garage allows you to access your car throughout the day.

• Penn + Moynihan Station are right there for bathrooms. People held spots, and everyone on our line was SO nice.
