Fall Retreat is a time where we can put the gospel into action and show the world why we follow Jesus. It is also a time where we get to get away from distractions and focus our full attention on why we follow Christ and how faithful he is to us. God is moving in so many incredible ways that new friendships were created, baptisms happened, and God was in the midst of all of it. It’s super amazing when everyone who is different all has the same mindset, and that mindset is to reach not only the people at VCU but the entire world. God is using every single person in these groups of students, but he is not done working!! HE IS SO GOOD!

“Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing.”
‭‭John‬ ‭15‬:‭5‬ ‭NLT‬

In this episode I sit down with Joyce Pringle, a campus missionary, with Richmond Chi Alpha. We discuss how to understand God's faithfulness. How faithfulness is a part of God's character. Because God is trustworthy, reliable, unchanging and always keeps His promises. Joyce explains seeing God's faithfulness in her personal life and ministry with Chi Alpha.

What does it look like to arrive at college one person and leave another — not because of a great class or experience, but because of friendships honest enough to tell you the truth about yourself?

When Saige arrived at VCU, she didn’t realize that there’s a difference between being an open book and truly letting people in.

A new friend invited her to a Chi Alpha small group in the middle of her freshman year, and she walked into a room that could hold her whole self. What followed was the slow, uncomfortable, and beautiful work of God transforming her into someone she hadn’t known she could be.

Spending the week with your friends at the beach learning about the gospel allows you to realize that God moves in every place, in every struggle, in the best moments of life and in the most difficult moments of life. God moved so much this past week learning about each other and us opening up to each other, each question asked, and taking in the parts of nature that we don’t usually see because of the fact that we are always thinking about point B when we go from point A to point B. I’m so excited for how each and everyone of us are going to apply this knowledge into our homes, campuses, and each and every one of our friends lives!!!! GOD IS SO GOOD!!!!

“And we know that God causes everything to work for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them” Romans 8:28.

End of 2025 recap! The best way to describe the end of the year is that there were so many moments of God’s faithfulness were lived out! From beautiful times of prayer, large groups, Bible studies, and sermon writing to memories sharing in the joy of the Lord with adventures, lip sync battles, and breaking bread, it has been wonderful serving and learning. From fall to winter, even when seasons change His love truly remains 🧡🩵
