As y’all know— my relationship with my gender is something I’ve struggled with since I was a child. As a nonbinary person who doesn’t try every day to be androgynous, it can feel like I’m a poser or not really nonbinary.
So when Chloe asked me to be apart of this impromptu photoshoot, which wasn’t even supposed to be taken seriously, I didn’t expect to put my gender expression on full display. Unshaven. Hair messy. And nails not painted. But in these photos, I still feel remarkably beautiful and more androgynous than I’ve ever been.
Thank you so much Chloe for being such a supportive friend and giving me this amazing opportunity. I love you.
