Manifestation Monday | Welcome to May in Motion…

Somewhere along the way, the internet decided 2026 feels a lot like 2016.

And honestly?
I get it.

Back when our brows were bold.
Our laughs were louder.
Our outfits had a little more confidence.

And somehow… we were not overthinking every little thing.
So for the month of May, we are bringing that energy back.

May in Motion.
Moving our bodies.
Moving our mindset.
Moving with intention.

Less hesitation.
Less performing.
More living.

So this first post?
A little throwback.
Not because I want to go back.
But because sometimes you have to remember who you were
to appreciate who you are becoming.

Let’s move.

Fun Fact Friday | The Goodbye That Grew Me...

Before I came back to my roots, I had to leave them.
This was my going-away party for The Piney Woods School: scared, crying, cake and all.

I didn’t know it then,
but that goodbye would shape everything that came next.

It built my backbone.
It made Ethos possible.
It started the journey.

Like Boyz II Men said, “How do I say goodbye to what we had?”
I don’t. I carry it.

Closing out Ancestors’ Wildest Dreams Week
with a reminder:
Leaving the root helped me learn how to water it.
