Seeing the first RWB Porsche in Africa was something I’ll never forget. I had the opportunity to witness Akira Nakai san build this car from the ground up, watching it transform piece by piece right in front of me.

At the time, it was incredible to see the car being built from scratch, but I never imagined what it would look like once everything was finished. Watching the process unfold made the car feel even more special.

Now, standing here and seeing the final product in person, it’s crazy to think how far it has come. From a Porsche being built piece by piece to a fully finished RWB, this isn’t just another Porsche it’s a piece of automotive history for Africa.

RAUH-Welt BEGRIFF (RWB) Porsche 911 🇿🇦
Built by Japanese Porsche tuner Akira Nakai, RWB cars are known for their hand-built widebody conversions, extended fenders, deep-dish wheels, low stance and signature oversized rear wings. Each RWB is individually built around the owner’s specification, making every car unique.
This RWB was featured at idle Auto Expo 2026 in Johannesburg, where South Africa hosted Africa’s first live RWB Porsche build.

Day 2 of the @rwb_africa_official first official build. Adding all the last finishing touches.
Super bummed we had to leave before the handover and getting to see the car lowered on those majestic @hart.forged wheels but leaves something to be excited to see at the next build!
Counting down the months until the next build in South Africa!
