🏆6WC Winner 🏆
Testimonial from our 6 Week Challenge Winner Richard Wernke
Richard’s Thoughts on his Transformation Experience:

Before starting the 6 Week Challenge at Snap Fitness Hamilton North I was starting to gain weight fast again, regressing on where I wanted to be, after I had previously managed to lose a whole lot of weight earlier in the year.

My goal weight was never achieved that time and I was starting to slip back into old habits with eating and not working out and exercising like I should.

Starting this 6 Week Challenge I made the goal of upping my attendance and adherence at the gym to 3-4 times a week and fixing up my diet and nutrition by eating a mainly whole food diet and avoiding processed foods while keeping an eye on my portion sizes.

The eating didn’t come easy and I was far from flawless with it to start off, but the more I pushed myself at the gym the more I gained momentum in other aspects and the less I needed to think about or try to work on my diet. I started to want to eat better and train harder because it made me feel better!

By the final 2 weeks of the challenge I was surpassing my goals, attending the gym 6 times a week, pushing hard every day, and itching to get back in the gym after my 1 recovery day each week.

Even with the challenge over now, I know I will continue with my training because it doesn't feel like a chore anymore, it has become a habit that I enjoy.

I’m sleeping better, especially after the hard workouts at the gym, and have more energy from better nutrition and eating clean.

The 6 Week Challenge has helped me make positive lifestyle changes that I no longer need to think about. With a growing interest in lifting heavier weights, my new goals will keep me pushing week after week.
