Soooo, AI pulled a fast one and changed Jeff’s face, my face and Ryan’s face! Had to fix it! 🫣🙌🏼🤣🩷💙

I Asked ChatGPT, “How Do You See Me?” 🥹💙

I asked ChatGPT to describe me, not by my appearance, but as a color, feeling, song, weather, season, scent, flower, place, animal and even a food. Then I asked it to turn those answers into a picture of my life.

What came back hit me harder than I expected. ❤️

Deep ocean blue with gold. Safe excitement. Sunshine after a storm. A sunflower. 🌻 A lake at golden hour. 🌅 Fresh sourdough. 🍞 Faith. Family. Love. Strength. Growth. Gratitude. 🙏🏼

But my favorite part was:

“A woman who feels deeply, loves fiercely, protects what matters, laughs loudly, keeps creating, and still believes the best chapters of her life can be ahead of her.”

That one got me. 🥹

I’ve been knocked down. I’ve gotten back up. I’ve loved, lost, learned, grown, forgiven and started over.

And lately, I’m learning another lesson:

Not everyone is going to like me, understand me, or even have the right version of me.

Sometimes people will believe things about you that you wish you could correct. Sometimes relationships you thought would always matter change in ways you never expected.

And yes, that hurts. ❤️‍🩹

But I can’t control someone else’s perception of me. I can only control who I continue to be.

So I choose to stay soft. Stay kind. Stay faithful. Keep loving fiercely. Keep laughing loudly. And keep moving forward. 💙

Maybe that’s part of getting older too. Realizing that peace doesn’t come from being understood by everyone.

Sometimes peace comes from knowing your own heart and being okay when God is the only one who knows the whole story. 🙏🏼

Through every chapter, God has been faithful.

Romans 8:28. Even the chapters we wouldn’t have chosen can be used for good.

And I absolutely believe some of my best chapters haven’t even been written yet. 💙🌻

🏆 Guess the TOP 5 Parents by Generation 🏆
(No offense… but also… a little offense 😏)

#5 – Silent Generation
Hardworking. Loyal. Not big on feelings.
Kids often grew up tough, independent… and quietly wishing for a hug or a “good job.”

#4 – Gen Z
The future cool parents. Emotionally tuned in. Mental-health aware.
Still young, still figuring it out, and not a ton of kids yet — potential is high, score is pending.

#3 – Boomers
Structured. Strict. Big on rules.
A lot of “because I said so” and not a lot of explaining why.
Loved their kids — just didn’t always talk about it.

#2 – Millennials
The emotionally aware parents.
Breaking generational trauma one therapy session at a time.
Big on communication, validation… and somehow ALWAYS have snacks. Like, always. 🧃🍿

🥇 #1 – Gen X
The stealth MVPs.
Independent but supportive.
Hands-off but I’ve got your back.
Sarcastic. Unbothered. Raised kids who can survive literally anything.

🎤 Agree? Disagree? Who’d you put at #1?
Drop your generation below 👇 Let’s argue respectfully 😌

Some signs are too perfect to be a coincidence! 🙌🏼

Yesterday we celebrated my mom’s 77th birthday. A miracle in itself.🙏

When she was first diagnosed with MS, doctors told her she wouldn’t live past 35. But if you know my mom, you know she’s never been one to follow someone else’s script. She’s been proving doctors wrong for over 50+ years—and living life with grace, grit, and so much heart.

And while we celebrated her with love and laughter over lunch, I know someone else was with us too—her mom. My Gram. My hero.😇

She passed in 2015, but she’s never really gone. She has a way of showing up for the big moments—and even the quiet ones—by leaving me little hearts in the most unexpected places. A heart-shaped leaf on a walk. A piece of gum or tar shaped just right. Always exactly when I need her.🩷

Yesterday, I stepped out of the shower and found this—right next to my necklace, on the counter. A small piece of cotton from my makeup remover… in the perfect shape of a heart. It stopped me in my tracks. I had just taken it off the night before. There’s no way it placed itself like that on its own.

Gram was there.😇

And on her daughter’s birthday, no less. I showed my mom the photo and her face lit up. We both knew what it meant.

Love never leaves. Sometimes it just shows up quietly, reminding you it’s still there—watching, guiding, and hugging you in ways only you can understand.💕

Okay fine—Ryan baked it. But I helped make the dough, so that basically makes me head baker, right? Proud mom moment watching this sourdough masterpiece rise to glory!
