As 2023 comes to an end, all I can say is this was the most eventful year of my life…

Every year has its ups and downs, but this year takes the cake for the highest highs, and lowest lows I’ve ever experienced 😂.

Some notable accomplishments (highest highs) 😁👇

I went to the most out of state Tricking events I’ve ever been to (six in the U.S., and one international). I taught four seminars in which three had 30+ participants. I became the second person ever to do 30 flips off of one leg 🦵! I built my Tricking private lesson clientele to 13 people (most I’ve had at one time). And lastly, I got into the best shape in my life, and stayed so consistent with my nutrition and exercise. Very proud of the effort I put into all my endeavors this year! 🙏

With the good, is always some bad. I honestly hate labeling life lessons as “bad” or “good” because we can learn something from everything that happens to or around us in our life’s. It is up to us to decide what we take away from our experiences, and whether they hold us back or push us forward! That is the most important lesson I have taken from 2023, and I will continue to push forwards no matter what!

Some notable struggles (lowest lows) 🫤👇

With that said, I sustained multiple injuries this year: pulled my groin and hamstring, developed posterior tibialis tendonitis, reinjured my toe/foot I got surgery on at the start of 2022, and lastly, badly sprained my right ankle @loopkickstricking gathering in July. Throughout all of this, I went through my hardest breakup, falling outs with friends, and dealt with some of the worst anxiety I’ve ever had.

We all have internal battles that are difficult to cope with, talk about, or even fully understand. I am SO thankful for those in my life who helped me through all of these difficult times. There are too many to count and I am forever grateful to be able to say that! 🥲

Thank you to everyone who has supported me over the years, and I’m wishing you all success and joy in 2024 ❤️!

WEEK 6 TOP FIVE!
'four seasons' cart/aerial/gumbi/raiz variations

This week; I previously thought 'four seasons' simply meant using all four landing stances in a combo, however I learned that it's traditionally defined as SWINGING through all four stances. Because I didn't specify swings in the original post (and my exampler didn't swing mega, although I wanted to), I accepted entries that used all the stances with other transitions.

With regards to when entries 'count' or not; I will do my best to repost everything @tricking_bounties is tagged in on the story and add it to the story highlight, and mention then if something 'doesn't count' as a submission. Overall, the bounties are intended to encourage variation. The whole project is about promoting creativity, not penalizing it.

Side note: it's interesting that almost everyone started or ended the combos with the mega 🤔

Aerial mega - aerial semi is so damn cool. The whole combo is tight and has a really enjoyable rhythm to it, I love the order (mega semi complete hyper). Also, the clip is hype, congrats on hitting a combo you've been trying for four years 👏

A bendy and surprising order of hitting all the stances. I love that this one has mega in the middle. I like how you film but it does make it impossible to crop 😂 check out his post for the actual full combo.

Totally different from all the other entries. I love how aggressive this combo is and how it changes DOM.

5) @uniquelyjones - 1 point ✨
A couple people helicoptered as their mega, but at the end of the combo. What I liked about this combo was the clean transition out of the helicoptero (which is hard to do!), and the overall smoothness.
