This season was absolutely unforgettable in every possible way. Both the people I met and the experiences I had helped me grow as both a person and a performer. These last few months have taken my blood, sweat, and tears, quite literally, but despite that this one of of my favorite shows to perform.

I don't have the words to express what this season meant to me but thank you to everyone who was apart of it. I wish everyone the best on the next part of their journey. Until next time, POW Percussion.

First year in an independent complete! WOOO!! If you had told me right after I had finished by guard season last year, that I would get to perform at the UD again, I wouldn't have believed you.
•
To the vis members:
Kira: Thank you for being such an amazing section leader and being the person I could look up to in performance and technique.

Angie: Thank you for being such a sweet and kind soul, making sure that we were never dehydrated and always a stunning performer.

Rylan: Thank you so much for being so funny and so caring, always offering to help if someone was injured or not feeling the best.

Erick: I'll miss you so much and i'll make sure to send you many letters when you're off in the military. Life is never dull around you when you're as driven and selfless as you are.

Ava: You're so incredibly passionate about dance and movement and I can't help but admire that. Thank you for being someone so easy to talk to. Can't wait to see you in RCC next year!

Brooke: You're such a sweet and kind girl and I loved that we got closer the week of dayton. Thank you so much for being someone who shows their enthusiasm openly. I love you so much <3

Aliyah: I remember the callback auditions, you stood out as an amazing performer and not only that, i learned that you're an incredibly sweet girl who never fails to make everyone smile. I love you and don't become a stranger <3

Julie: My chi!! my older sister!! Thank you for always being there, whether that be to talk to about something stupid, being someone I could look for in terms of performance or getting food together. You've made such a positive impact on my life and I have no words but to say thank you and I love you :) <3

To the staff: You have made my first world Independent group so incredible. The love and effort you put into this group is acknowledged and I thank you endlessly for making this season unlike anything else. Thanks @chaunick___ for teaching me and helping me better as a performer and a person. Everything that you've taught me throughout the season is something i'll be able to carry into every aspect of my life <3

POW 26’.....
Thank you pow for an opportunity I never thought I’d take or earn. If you told me a year ago I’d be marching SoCal indoor I would not have believed you. The countless hours of driving, the unhealthy amount of energy drinks, the laughs, the tears, the anger, frustration and worry all just to do this niche activity. Thank you all for making it so memorable.
@chaunick___ thank you for taking the gamble and giving the random Bay Area chick from thesis a chance and a new home. I have learned so much more than I thought I would under this program and I am so happy that I was given this opportunity to grow and become a better performer. The things I have learned from you will forever stay with me.

OCI '26

Going into this season I thought I understood this activity like the back of my hand. I was 1000% wrong. I haven't felt this way since my senior year PCN. Its like I had five show days in a row. Thank you OCI for teaching me how to truly create something bigger than myself.
