Three new works from WAVES: Rhythmic Resonance by RYAK are now live on Sedition.

In this video, RYAK takes us deeper into the ideas behind the series and its ongoing exploration of resonance, perception, and the hidden frequencies shaping contemporary existence.

Through rhythmic structures, continuous motion, and evolving fields of colour, the works make invisible oscillations perceptible, drawing connections between physical phenomena, biological rhythms, emotional states, and the systems that surround us.

A special release from RYAK.

G-F-E-D LA BAMBOLA CHE NIDIFICA reimagines the story of David and Goliath through nine interconnected symbols, unfolding as a nesting doll that explores fear, faith, courage and transformation. Each layer reveals a new chapter, reminding us that even the greatest challenges can become the beginning of something new.

In ‘The Thinker Left His Stairs’, he reflects on the society we have built, using speculative imagery to question the systems, habits, and realities that shape our everyday lives.

A vision of the future that feels uncomfortably close to the present.
