🥍 2025–26 Boys Lacrosse Honors

Year after year, the 7Eight Area continues to produce some of New Jersey’s top boys lacrosse talent, and this season was no exception.

To recognize the athletes who made this spring one to remember, we’re proud to present our 2025–26 Boys Lacrosse Dream Team and Rising Force selections.

From championship contributors to future stars, these athletes represent the very best of boys lacrosse across the corridor.

These honors (and so much more) are featured in the inaugural 7Eight Sports Magazine, a 172-page keepsake showcasing more than 1,200 student-athletes, 100 teams, and 1,000+ photos and graphics from the 2025–26 school year.

Scotch Plains-Fanwood and Summit already gave Union County an instant classic earlier this spring.

The rematch had a county title on the line.

With two Top-10 programs meeting again under the lights, Saturday night felt less like a local rivalry game and more like something out of a movie.

After SPF jumped out to a 3-1 lead in the opening quarter, Summit answered with four straight in the second to flip the game, then added four more in the third to create separation. By the end, the Hilltoppers stormed away with a commanding 10-5 win.

There’s a lot of weapons on this team for defenses to clock.

Sophomore Chris Davies orchestrated the offense with four points and three assists. Cole Sabol continued one of the area’s best comeback stories with two goals and an assist after missing last season with a torn Achilles. Quinn Hynes added two goals and an assist of his own, while Jack Freeman chipped in a pair.

Along with Luke Fowler and James Grainer, that group has combined for 225 points, accounting for 86% of Summit’s offensive production this spring. When that much firepower is spread across six different players, it makes the Hilltoppers that much harder to guard.

For SPF, Nick Homer, Colin Kochanowicz, and Vance Slack each found the back of the cage, but against a Summit team firing on all cylinders, the Raiders could never fully regain momentum once the Hilltoppers seized control in the second quarter.

One year after falling to Westfield the final, Summit reclaims their title as the top dogs in Union County.

This is not a normal public school team @summitlacrosse
This year is special, I cant say enough about this senior class! Definition of a Team Win today against a very good RFH team.
