What a sweet experience playing Mom to talented Sara (Aria Singh) in this bittersweet little film written and directed by the kind and effervescent director Munara Muhetaer (@m.u.n.a.r.a) and wonderful producer John Tan (@johntan_xu) and delightful crew who made every day so pleasant and relaxing and fun. I didn’t expect to be so lit up being around such a promising, beautiful, talented, group of young girls. I didn’t realize how much I missed girl energy. I didn’t expect how good it was for my soul to be amongst a group of such diverse and talented Asians and to work alongside my community in this way. I didn’t expect to be so welcomed at the stage mom table and I had an absolute blast chatting all things showbiz with the real moms.
