Honoring a legacy that continues to inspire ✨

We’re deeply grateful to Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios for celebrating Chance Perdomo through a scholarship empowering the next generation of comedic storytellers.

“Thanksgiving,” a standout series from BYU students, is just the beginning. 🎬

“Thanksgiving” won the Student Television Award for “Best Comedy Series” this weekend, and I’m so thankful I got to be part of this crew.

Over two years ago, Lauren asked me to be her 2nd AC & soon after said just kidding, I actually need you to 1st AC. I was so intimidated. I’d never been on a camera team before since my background had been in production design up to that point. I didn’t even know what a 1st AC did…Focus puller? I hardly know her! Amiright guys?

I learned from the best (@willemkampenhout) & made it to set where we joked that I was the crew iPad kid. I made friends that later became MY camera team on another project (shoutout @isaac.lounsbury & @mrmarkham32). It was such a fun & important confidence booster for me, and I’m so glad the Student Emmy’s has given me a chance to reminisce this special project.

Thank you @laurenallenfilm for letting me accompany you at the awards ceremony & for never making me feel like my work on this piece was small. I love you so much.

Congratulations @austinthemovieman on your massive success!!! You deserve it!

Thanksgiving - BYU Media Arts

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! In the spirit of the season, I'm happy to now be able to share this short comedy film I worked on back in 2024! I was asked to do all the post audio work, being the sound editor, dialogue editor, and re-recording mixer. This new spin on the groundhog day concept was written by @abbyapple7, produced by @ryan.m.jones, and directed by @austinthemovieman. Topped off with a tender score from @josephphillipsmusic, they all did an incredible job creating this very comedic and heart warming film. It's since won the award for comedy series at the Student Emmy awards! Enjoy!

It’s been a month since The Little Mermaid. Just reminiscing on some of my favorite moments with my fishy friend. This show was truly a dream and I’m so grateful for the opportunity and the wonderful people I had the privilege to work with! Love you all!🧜‍♀️🦀❤️
