The New York Knicks are your 2026 NBA champions. Wow, I actually can’t believe this is real. I feel this is the only valid reaction coming from a fan of the NBA for the last 15+ years. I’ve seen this New York Knicks team finish in the bottom 3 of the East, fall out of the top 3 in the lottery miss their chances on Zion Williamson in the draft, and Kevin Durant in free agency to their in-state rival Nets, and just continuously disappoint their fans.

But finally the time has come New York. As a diehard Celtics fan, this one is gonna sting but they were due and they deserve it. San Antonio’s inexperience really showed late in some of those finals games. First off Jalen Brunson is so hard to hate, he never once took the foot off the gas and just continued to will this team to victory in any way possible, Becky Hammon is going to have to eat her words on that 1A comment from 2023, especially as an assistant for San Antonio now. Karl Anthony Towns, a trade in the offseason for Julius Randle and Donte Divincenzo that most fans hated. He was the finals MVP of this series after the first 2 games but didn’t really show a lot in the last 3 games. But man did he make Wemby’s life a living hell all series long. Obviously, the role players for this Knicks team is what really got them here, OG Anonuby another playoff run where he dominates, Mikal Bridges (5 first round picks) I thought that trade was beyond crazy at the time of it happening but he came up huge in Game 5.

My prediction “Spurs in 7” was obviously incorrect but we saw how close each of those games were so I’m not going to hang my hat on that prediction. I think they will be back soon, just need to figure out what to do with swipathefox and him swiping 45+ mil a year from yall.

Congratulations to The Nova Knicks for actually getting it done and I can say I am very happy for my plethora of followers that root for the New York Knicks every year. SOME Knicks fans deserved this one the other ones you can go keep burning down your city. All jokes and all love.Tagging all my boys who are KNICKS FANS. Shoutout @peeweedaplug
