We are immensely proud to introduce the extraordinary Jodie Whittaker as Mother Hatch, the formidable matriarch of The Country đŸ€ŻđŸ€©đŸŽŹ We are so incredibly grateful to have had Jodie join us, both as an actor and Executive Producer. Beyond being an outstanding talent, she is genuinely one of the loveliest people we could have hoped to make this film with. Her warmth, humour and generosity made having her on set such a joy, and the care she brought to our little film meant more to us than she'll ever know. It was also incredibly exciting to see Jodie take on an antagonist, something we so rarely get to see from her. Watching Jodie bring such a commanding and unsettling presence to Mother Hatch was a real testament to her exceptional range as an actor. She brought such conviction and complexity to the character, making Hatch all the more compelling. Jodie is a complete star, both on and off screen, and working with her was a genuine privilege.
