⚔️ Warrior Mindset Wednesday ⚔️

Last week in Week 2 of our series “Live Your Life for Christ Now,” we talked about putting an end to pride, sin, and idolatry—>and growing a life marked by authentic faith, a contrite spirit, and a heart that trembles before the Lord.

We studied what it means to approach God with humility through Scripture: Psalm 149 —> The Lord takes pleasure in His people and adorns the humble with salvation. Isaiah 66:2 —> God looks to the one who is humble, contrite in spirit, and who trembles at His Word. Daniel 4 —> We walked through the story of Nebuchadnezzar: his dream, Daniel’s warning, his humbling by God, and his restoration when he finally acknowledged the Most High.

At the end of the night, the men stepped forward in honesty and repentance, bringing their pride, sins, and idols before Jesus. We prayed together and experienced a powerful reminder of God’s grace and transformation. We also experienced another encouraging moment of God’s intentionality. We started with 7 warriors, ended with 7 warriors, met at 7 PM, in the 7th month, and studied the 7 periods of judgment Nebuchadnezzar went through in Daniel 4.

Whether it was simply a coincidence or a gentle reminder from the Lord, it pointed us back to this truth: God is a God of order, He sees us, and He is faithful. Our confidence is not in signs or numbers, but in His Word and His promises. This was not the first time we’ve seen moments like this. From 6 fish before a night with 6 warriors, to 9 warriors during our series on the 9 spiritual disciplines, God continues to encourage us and remind us that He is present in the work He has called us to.

Praise the Lord for His hand over these men and this ministry!!!!!!!!!
