Birthdays are a special time of year when we get to celebrate another year of life and reflect on all the experiences we’ve had. This year, I decided to go on a solo birthday trip to a new destination. I chose to visit El Nido (one of my bucket list this year and to complete the Palawan) and of course to explore all it had to offer. Little did I know that this trip would turn out to be one of the most memorable birthdays I’ve ever had. Thanks FRENDZ HOSTEL @frendzelnido and HAQQY LIFE @haqqy.life.elnido

It was an amazing trip, I met awesome people from all over the world, each with their own unique stories and travel experiences to share. It was fascinating to hear about their lives and learn a little bit of their culture.

One of the highlights of my trip was the Beyond El Nido Adventure, scheduled on my birth date itself were we went to Lio Beach riding a Jeepney with Karaoke, ate Boodle Fight at the Countryside before we trek going to Bulalacao Waterfalls and had few drinks at Nacpan Beach (token from our Something in Common Game). We spent hours exploring El Nido together, laughing, singing, dancing and sharing stories along the way. It felt like I had known them for years, even though we had just met and were so grateful to be surrounded by such kind people who went out of their way to make my birthday special.

Reflecting on my birthday travel experience, I realized that the people I met from the Airport, Hostel, Island Hopping Tours A & C to BENA were the ones who made it truly unforgettable. Their kindness and genuine interest in getting to know me made me feel welcome and appreciated. I left the Island with a full heart and a renewed sense of gratitude for the connections I had made.

In the end, my birthday trip was not just about exploring a new destination, but about forming meaningful relationships and creating lasting memories. I will always cherish the time I spent with the people I met and the experiences we shared. It was a birthday I will never forget, and I am grateful for the opportunity to have met such wonderful individuals along the way.
