Woke up…still feeling the energy from Kansas City.

Last night’s Under the Sisterhood DocuArt Experience is hard to put into words.

I’m filled with gratitude for our director, @ryan_lovell and Escapist Skateboarding @escapistskate for bringing our documentary and this experience to Kansas City, where I finally had the chance to meet some of the amazing women who showed up almost spontaneously and became part of our film.

The room felt like everything Under the Sisterhood stands for. Multiple generations together. Kids running around. Parents and grandparents watching. Women seeing themselves and one another on screen. It was joyful, intimate, emotional and incredibly human. It was us.

We honored all of the inspiring women who shared their stories, the voice our writer and Creative Director, @sharonhowardbutler gave to our story the Under the Sisterhood team who continues to build our beautiful community.

It was a celebration of everyone who created this film and, most importantly, the women who trusted us with their stories.

And then the film ended, and another experience began.

The conversation about reclaiming our voices moved through health, identity, culture and self-advocacy.

There were calls to arm for men to support the women in their lives, create safe spaces for them to speak, truly listen and be accountable.

And a powerful reminder for women: keep advocating for ourselves. Keep asking. Keep pushing forward until we are seen, heard and our perspectives are valued.

Thank you @sarah__lovell , @gennyfromtheblock88 Sunny, and everyone who shared so openly.

This is why we are taking DocuArt from city to city. To tell share our story to catalyze these important conversations.

The film may be five minutes long.

The conversations it is igniting are much bigger.

Kansas City, you will stay with me. 💗

Next stop: Kansas. 🩷

And this one feels especially meaningful.
The @underthesisterhood DocuArt™ Tour is heading to Kansas, where our next generation of sister leaders is already taking shape.

There is something incredibly powerful about watching this work move from city to city, generation to generation.

Women gathering.
Stories opening conversations. Conversations creating connection.
And younger women beginning to see the power of their own voices and what they can do with them.

Aisterhood isn’t only about the women beside us.
It’s about the women coming after us.

This is Under the Sisterhood.

An incredibly intimate and powerful stop on our Under the Sisterhood DocuArt™️ Tour, gathered in the home of our dear sister Seema @addictedtospice

We watched.
We listened.
We talked.
We shared.
And we enjoyed quality time with each other.

I left with a very full cup and so much gratitude.

Seema, thank you for opening your beautiful home and your heart to us, and for creating such a warm space to experience the Under the Sisterhood DocuArt™️ film and @underthehoodofbreasthealth together.

To my family, @being.georgia, Chris, Rachel, @maxe20, and @sam_elfenbein, having you there meant more than you know. And to @dixielincolnnichols and @reinventionrebels Wendy, thank you for continuing to show up for this work, and for me, with so much heart.

As we move from city to city, I keep witnessing something I never could have fully imagined when we began.

The ripple effect.

One woman shares her story.
Someone else recognizes herself in it.
A conversation begins.
A connection is made.
Someone else feels permission to use her voice.
And the circle keeps growing.

It doesn’t matter whether there are 15 people in a living room or hundreds in a room. What matters is what happens when we come together and truly listen to one another.

My heart is very, very full. ❤️
