PALOOKAVILLE now available on @omeleto ❤️ The review though⚡️BIO

“PALOOKAVILLE — which lays the groundwork for a larger tale — an ironic comment on success and glory amid the dysfunction and breakdown of society. The American dream, it seems, may be more akin to a collective hallucination, requiring a serious suspension of disbelief and a helping of delusion.”

“What links both comedy and drama is the tone of observant, nonjudgmental intimacy, which lets the characters reveal themselves with a surprising complexity in a very short period of time.”

Thanks for the movies! I only wish I had the time and resources to start a distribution company so I could release all of those incredible undistributed films. Hopefully, many of them will be coming to a venue/platform near you in 2026. And, thanks to everyone who took the time to view any of my work this year! Please keep making more movies for me to watch. I sure do love ‘em!

Ena Da saved the day, satiating the most vocal, discerning, and confrontational seniors of Lovejoy, including my most fierce critic, Irene. Full episode Monday featuring the singular @gevestirard . Thanks again, Ena @park_slope_arsonist

Maybe this will open your wings ⬇️

When a person discovers their purpose, only LOVE remains alive within them.
I found mine in directing and acting.
Acting was my first and greatest love —
but directing… directing is my essence.
What I feel when I create a new world through directing,
when my hands and my vision bring it into reality,
is the greatest blessing from God.

I am grateful.
Grateful that at such a young age I’ve come to know who I am,
and that each day I have the chance to grow and become better.
Those of you who know me, know how much this means to me.

With these words, I want to give wind to your folded wings,
the ones that curled up in fear
instead of living their dreams and their love.

Jelena Sorkin — director and actor.
