Another hard “See you later” today.

@liamgoodhart16 was one of the first athletes I started my career with. Back in 2018, a small 10 year old kid walked in the MAC after being referred by @jaysharbbb

The rest is history. YEARS of hard work, dedication, and RESULTS later. He heads off to Walter’s as one of the most feared hitters in the state.

Walter’s is getting an absolute stud.

We also sent @ryan_russell10 off this morning. He’s been relentlessly putting in the work since the day he stepped in here. His attention to detail, effort towards the mundane, and willingness to push through when times were tough made him one of the best pitchers in the state.

You two will be missed. Whatever you need, whenever you need it, you’ll always have a home at Hybrid.

Elite rotational athletes can separate their trunk from their lower half with violent fluidity.

This is one of our favorite drills to drive home which muscles should aid in this. This will also show us the deficits in strength and mobility each athlete has.

By doing an isometric contraction in this position we are cutting down on the wear and tear we commonly see in this population.

Between practices, lessons, games, etc. they rotate a TON.

If they are tight, immobile, or using the wrong muscle groups when violently rotating then over time we will see injuries occur to the low back, hips, and obliques.

This is a tool in the tool box, but it’s a dangerous good one! We will typically program 3-4 sets of 10-20 seconds each side on these.

Thanks to these seniors that have been so great to me over the past 4 years. I’m so glad for the support and leadership that they have given me and others. I will never forget this season.

This has been the best year of baseball in my life. I couldn’t contribute like I wanted to but the memories I made will be with me for the rest of my life. I grew up with the seniors and love every single one of them, this year has had its ups and downs but this team will always be a family and I go to sleep at night thankful for the memories I was able to make with every single one of them🫶🫶

I never thought it would come to an end like this. The past 4 years have truly been the best time of my life. The guys on this team are not just friends they are brothers. Y’all have taught me to keep my head up when times are low and keep my head level when things are going good. Y’all have been so fun to play with since 6th grade. The memories I made with this team will never be forgotten. To the guys that aren’t graduating I love y’all boys, and go ball out next year. You’ve truly been such an amazing under class and I will miss playing with y’all. Now to the guys moving on with me, I’ve enjoyed every year playing with y’all and grinding in the off-season.
