Ryan Broyles was an ABSOLUTE MACHINE at Oklahoma. ☝️🔥

If you watched college football in the early 2010s, you knew exactly what Broyles was about.

He wasn’t the biggest receiver. He wasn’t the fastest receiver. He just never stopped getting open.

Broyles exploded onto the scene in 2009, catching 89 passes for 1,120 yards and 15 touchdowns as a sophomore.

Then he somehow got even better.

In 2010, Broyles hauled in 131 catches for 1,622 yards and 14 touchdowns, earning unanimous All-American honors. Those 131 receptions set an FBS single-season record at the time.

He finished his Oklahoma career with an absurd 349 receptions, 4,586 yards and 45 touchdowns—all-time school records.

And that’s what made him so much fun to watch.

He was a human first down. Quick out of his breaks, ridiculously reliable, dangerous after the catch and seemingly always open when Oklahoma needed a play.

His college career was eventually cut short by a knee injury in 2011, but there was no question about what he had already accomplished.

Ryan Broyles was one of the best pure receivers of his era.

That guy rocked. 🔥☝️
