Over the last few years, the fellas and I, alongside producer Matt Keller, have been putting together a collection of songs called “The Way We Were”.

It’s a humbling thing to face your own art.

I’ve always told artists that there’s a space between art and commerce, and if you spend too much time trying to figure out that space, you can get stuck.

Well, I got stuck.

I spent a lot of time doubting myself, trying to figure out how to stay true to who I am while also creating something that people would love. Somewhere along the way, I realized I had to care so much that I eventually stopped caring. Odd I know. Not stop caring about the music, but about all the noise surrounding it. I am who I am.

We all know chasing down a dream can be a lonely thing. Some days, the urge to give up feels louder than the reason you started. But with the support of my wife, bandmates and the people around me, we kept showing up. Kept making music. Kept pushing through.

And now, here we are.

On November 11th, 2026, you’ll finally get to hear what we’ve been working on.

The pre-save link is in my bio. If you feel inclined, it would mean a lot.

We hope it finds you.

I was just getting my Liquid Motivation going and realized that @ericswansonmusic has a new song out on all platforms called “Roll On”. WOW, does it jive with my Java ☕️.
