This year, the Southwestern University FAP achieved great results, delivering a 24.61% annual return. Not only did our team surpass our benchmark annual return of 16.24%, but we also came out ahead of the S&P 500’s 24.01% annual return.

Our strategy focused on maintaining a diversified portfolio, blending a diversified fixed-income fund, multiple broad market ETFs, and an array of equity investments. Among our top-performing equities for 2024, including their annual return, were DECK (+80.80%), META (+69.08%), and NFLX (+90.25%).

The 2024 market offered no shortage of challenges and opportunities, from Federal Reserve interest rate cuts and the Presidential election to the transformative AI boom. Through these events, our analysts gained invaluable experience in strategic portfolio management and navigating market complexities.

As we look to 2025, the FAP team is eager to continue refining our skills, gaining real-world insights, and delivering consistent returns. Here’s to another year of growth and success!
